Well i don´t have much time this week because we were running late, so let´s see what i can get out! haha
You all sound well enough. Jason finally got a banjo, the lumber jack! So even though it doesn´t seem like Natal (Christmas) here it is! You can see little fake Christmas trees in some people’s houses and every once in a while you can see lights on people’s houses. The Elders in Centro decked their house out with lights and with fake snow flakes. Haha, pretty funny. So it is Christmas here too. Just that the weather is a little hotter and that´s it. But i´m having adventures still.
First off President was down here in Itabuna last week for interviews! Haha that man is a stud! I love President Vecchi so much! And i got to talk to him a little bit. This transfer ends next Monday and i have been really nervous and anxious to find out what will happen! I am anxious because i don´t have tooo tooo tooo much desire to stay here. But then, because of that i feel like i´ll just stay here. And people´s guesses don´t help too much. So i´ll hang in there. And i think i´ll stick around longer.
One challenge i have here in Fátima is that i have knocked most the doors because the area is small. So you go and knock those same doors again. And i am just excited to leave one day. haha we´ll see.
I bought a straight up coconut this last week and used our machete to open it and drink the succulent sweet waters within. Enough said. Haha
Happy happy birthday mom, this week! I totally remembered last week and wrote it down so i wouldn´t forget!
Haha so a crazy story about this week; to put it simply, we taught a lesson to the drug traffickers of São Roque. We knocked their door and i heard someone say something about putting his gun away. Then we talked to them for a minute and shared a message because 2 of them were already baptized into the church years ago. But they can´t go to the church in Fátima because they are pretty ´well known´ over here. Hahaha........ ... .. Really nice guys. I wish them life changing luck! haha But don´t worry we weren´t in any danger mom :)
Well, i don´t have much time left. This is my last week with Elder S. com certesa. And then we have Christmas conference on Thursday! Then it´s call home time! Woo hoo
