Other
crazy things from this week. We travelled to Jequié on Wednesday to have a zone
meeting and that was pretty cool. I like going to Jequié because it is a cool
city, and big. Sometimes i long to go to a bigger city because it is way
different. Haha and Poções is so small.
That
is cool that brother Magelsen knows about Poções. I think that the church has
like 17 years here, something like that. It will be cool after my mission to
show brother Magelsen some of my pictures and stuff.
Other than that the week was pretty normal. We
worked like dogs and taught a ton of lessons. We brought this crazy cool old
lady to church on Sunday. She only has one eye. And she was wearing a crazy
Macumba ring. Like the voodoo stuff. We think that she may have lost her eye to
macumba... maybe. Anyways, she is cool and crazy. This is the last week of
another transfer, so that is exciting. I´d give myself a 99% chance that
nothing changes here in Poções. We will just stay the same. But that is about
it.
Sorry
that i don´t have too much to say this week. It has been a good week, and a
good 3 weeks as well. Elder Rudy is still learning portuguese and that is fun.
This last week i got to see my recent convert Marcela, from Teixeira de Freitas
because her family lives here in Poções. She was having difficulties but i was
able to help and i hope that everything works out okay. But also because of
this, we are teaching her mom now! So what do you know? haha Her mom is a good
person, and her dad is insane! haha But it´s all good.
Next
week my previous companions will start going home. Elder Ricker and Elder Hurst
are both returning home now. It is really weird for me to think of that. But
all is well.
