Things are going great and i am
having quite the adventure. Soooooo i left Eunápolis Wednesday morning and got
to the rodoviária (bus station) in Itabuna about 11 o´clock. It is great to be
back!!! I Started my mission here in Itabuna and it looks like i will probably
finish my mission here as well! Like i said last week, i was called as a Zone
Leader for the Zone of Itabuna. But we are currently working in a close city
called Buerarema. It has opened recently and is what we call a group. So it
makes part of a ward in Itabuna. The São Caetano ward. There are about 10 to 15
members in Buerarema. We hold a sacrament meeting each Sunday at 5 to 7
o´clock. There is a gospel principles class and then the sacrament meeting.
Me and Elder Malloy actually live in
the church because it is a rented house. The church is the house part and we
actually live in the garage. Haha i will have to show some pictures! It is so
crazy! So in our garage house we have a fridge and other necessary things.
Don´t think that it is hard living conditions, it is just interesting. But we
only sleep in the house right?
Being a zone leader is crazy. It is
just like being a district leader except now i have 16 missionaries to worry
about. We also get to talk a lot to president and his assistants. It is fun.
Haha my mission president is so funny as well! So it is a lot of fun.
Church this Sunday was good. In the
morning we went to Itabuna to attend the São Caetano ward, and then we went
back to Buerarema after lunch. At our meeting in Buera we had 20 people in
church. Pretty crazy huh?
Other than this i am looking forward
to serving as a Zone Leader. I am super excited to be here in Itabuna again,
ending my mission right where i started it. We are working hard and starting
the church in a new city. Not that many missionaries are given this
opportunity!
