So the best news is that we had a
crazy busy week but it ended with the Baptism of Raildo. Haha he has to be the
most humble and meek man i have ever met. He struggles with a lot of physical
health problems but is one of those people that is happy and never ever
complains about anything. He is just so calm and awesome! haha Usually we need
to help people come to church and find their way and all. But he has come the
last 3 weeks all by himself. He even has trouble walking but he mosied his way
over to the river Saturday for his baptism and over to the church Sunday for
his confirmation. What a stud.
Buerarema is still the biggest
adventure ever. Haha we had a wonderful headache this week however, we moved
out of that garage we were living in and will be moving into a house on
Wednesday! Saweet! The mosquito's were killing us in the garage so we cracked
and went searching for a house after receiving the ´ok´ from president
Andrezzo. haha So since we moved out we stashed all our stuff from Buera in the
new house while they fix up some things and we´ve been living in São Caetano,
in Itabuna. Yeah! Haha life is great!
I don´t think i told this story
yet... We were snacking at a lanchonete here in Buerarema the other night and
all of the sudden something came out of no where and hit my shoulder. I thought
it was a small bird because a wing hit my ear. when i brushed it off with my
hand it ended up being a giant grasshopper, the kind that are slightly less
size than my hand spread out wide. haha the freakin' giant grasshoppers come
out at night and we see them running into everything. Buildings and cars and
anything. They probably don´t see very well. But it was funny to get one to the
shoulder.
Love you guys so much. Peace out
from Bahia!
