Well! Here i am having computer problems again! haha i tried to send some pictures and ended up just wasting a bunch of time! but let me explain how things are going.
So after my last email Monday, Tuesday i got all my stuff together and headed out to work a little bit. Say goodbye to my recent converts and everything. Then i headed out last Tuesday night at 7:20 at night on a bus to a city called Vitoria Da Conquista. I rode that bus all night and we arrived in conquista at about 4 in the morning. There i waited with another elder, Elder Tomé, a good friend of mine, until a few hours later all the Elders in conquista arrived. Conquista is a big city, with skyscrapers and everything, like Itabuna! But i caught one more bus from conquista going to the nice, small, podunky city of Poções.

There are 4 Elders in Poções and it is great here. The city is way way way high in altitude and it is surprisingly cold!!!! Haha It is cold enough that when i walk on the streets all day i hardly sweat! I am used to 10 minutes of walking and being soaked. It is sooo different here. Poções has a branch here, and we have a chapel! it is super cool and i am glad to be able to have meetings in a place that isn´t a house. haha the chapel in Teixeira was a rented house, if you don´t remember.
My companions name is Elder Vieira. He is from Manaus where the newest temple was dedicated. He is a stud and we are going to have a blast here. Haha i have to say it is really hilarious here with the cold weather. It is cold enough that i am a little cold-er in the morning but it is like normal weather. Because of the altitude, it seems like there is always a strong wind blowing. Like almost always. It reminds me a little of eastern Washington. But it is more green and less dead. You could say ´the hills are alive with the sound of music´ haha because it is built way up on some hills. it´s a cool city.
We had a great week last week and have some good investigators. i hope to have a lot of success here because we are going to work for it. Like president vecchi told us, "pray like it all depends on the lord and work like it all depends on you."
