Tonight we head off to Salvador to have the zone leader council with President Andrezzo. It is going to be sweet! It will be my last council and we did so well, hahaha it´ll feel good :) ha i feel so prideful right now, i hope not in the terrible!
Even though we did so well, however, i know exactly where it all came from. We had so many blessings this week, so many miracles, it was sweet. Heavenly Father blessed us with these miracles because of our faith and righteous desires. One of my favorite talks of all time was given by Dallin H. Oaks and is simply called Desire.
Elder Warner spent two days out in Itabuna this week taking care of baptismal interviews and all. So i was here in Buerarema by myself. haha obviously not literally by myself but with a new missionary on division each day. One of the days, thursday, we were eating lunch and i had the thought to look in our area book before we left to work at 1 o´clock. Well i found a teaching record for a girl named Lorrana, that lives really close to where we are working. She had also been to church a lot in the past, like she went for a couple months without getting baptized. So we headed up there after a few commitments and when i saw her the first thing she said was, ´I got reactivated in the catholic church!´ haha i was like, ´ok, but can we talk for a little bit?´ haha
She is really sarcastic and said a bunch of things like, ´are you going to give me another book of mormon? like all the other missionaries?´ Well i conversed with her for a while and in the end helped her discover her testimony.
Well to make a long story shorter, she has been visited a lot by a lot of missionaries in the past. Many missionaries have tried to baptize her. Many! But i was there with my DL and after we talked to her for a bit Elder Rampton my DL interviewed her and she got baptized yesterday!! Haha talk about miracles! We were faulting 1 person to make 10 and heavenly Father gave her to us! What a blessing.
My vision has changed so much about life and work. About my purpose and how i can help others. My desires have changes and my determination. Everything has changed. I am so happy!
So Life is good. I am happy and we are being blessed more than ever before. We have various people to baptize this week, the blessings aren´t stopping. I love this church and my savior Jesus Christ. I know that He lives. He has changed my life forever.
